A Few Recent Projects
🤔 So, what can Complete Allergy and Asthma do for my allergy practice? Here are some examples of recent projects:
Helping the owners structure their practice and job offers to excite candidates AND help the founders maintain more control than a normal partnership offers.
Assisting a large practice that is considering adding a specialty pharmacy.
Benchmarking revenue cycle performance.
What can we do for your practice? 🤔
Optimize Your Schedule For Maximum Appointments
Our Founder Todd McGee had the opportunity to speak during the Practice Management session at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) conference on Friday.
One topic was the importance of building enough same-day sick visits into the Physician and APP schedules. If you don't, then one of 2 bad things will happen:
You work the patient in- but this makes everyone else wait longer, frustrates the staff because they are forced to stay later, etc.
You don't work the patient in- and the patient suffers with their symptoms or finds care elsewhere. If they leave, there is a good chance they will NEVER come back!

How Does Your Practice Measure Up?
When running or managing your allergy practice, have you ever wondered if the procedure codes you are billing are similar to other practices?
One of the many practice management services that we offer is to analyze this data for you. Comparing your practice billings versus others can help you unlock potential sources of additional revenue. This is vital as CMS continues to cut outpatient physician reimbursement.
Look Under The Hood...
When running your allergy practice, it's logical to focus on ways to increase revenue. Be 100% certain to also look into the effectiveness of your revenue cycle. One tip is to compare your actual reimbursement for your CPT codes to your fee schedules. Otherwise you are literally burning 🔥 money!
Fee schedules are what your insurance payors have committed to pay you. If for example your skin testing is supposed to be reimbursed at $4.98/unit, are you getting that? If not, look under the hood of your business office and get questions answered.
